The Glen Burnie Recreation Association will start its 71st year of dance classes beginning the week of September 21st. The program is open to anyone who is at least 3 years of age by September 1, 2026.  Regular classes are one hour long and include ballet and tap instruction.  Jazz instruction is included for those seven and older. Registration is now open. Mail in or drop off, in our secured locked mail box located on our front porch.  Walk-in registration is Wednesday, August 26th from 5:00 pm to 7:000 pm. All information is subject to change.

Tuition for Regular Classes

Tuition is $225 per student which reflects a discount for cash or check. 

Tuition is $230 per student when using credit. 

Dancer are not enrolled until tuition is paid.

There will be a $30 charge for returned checks. Checks should be made payable to GBRA.

You may download and print the registration form. Once fully completed you can either mail or drop off the forms with full payment in the secure locked mail box located on the front porch of the studio. Please keep the first two pages, information and calendar, for your information.

Special Classes

Confirmation of what class your dancer is placed in.

Specialty classes are being offered in addition to regular dance classes:  You must enroll in one of the regular classes in order to register for any of the Specialty classes.

If enrolled before September 14th via mail in or walk in registration, you will receive an email confirmation for each class your dancer is enrolled in. This is a one time email only. 

 

We will contact you if there is a problem with your first choice or if a class is full when your registration is processed. 


Email confirmations will only be received if registration forms and payment are received by September 14th. Registration forms received after September 14th will not received an email confirmation, please plan to attend the first day of your first choice class.


No further updates will be emailed. 


If you are not contacted by the studio, then you should plan to attend the first day of your first choice class.

Be sure to like our Facebook page so that you can get reminders and special posts about any changes and carefully read all emails.


Keep the first 2 pages of your registration form handy - you should refer to this before calling, emailing  or posting any question on Facebook.


GBRA will determine closures due to weather or emergencies. Please call the studio after 2:30 p.m. at 410-768-1058 for information regarding closures.
